Who is this course aimed at?

The course is designed for non-microbiologists, microbiologists and those experienced in working at Containment Level 3 (CL3) but taking on a management role.

What is the course about?

This course gives the delegate a systematic review of the facility design, operational practices and safety management which contribute to working safely in the CL3 environment.

The delegates meet experts in the field in both practical and lecture settings and time is scheduled for debates into best practice in Containment Laboratories. Practical work undertaken on this course simulates working at CL3 in a genuine CL3 laboratory using Hazard Group 1 agents or non-toxic liquids and powders.
