Overview:

This year's Forum will include a review of the revised radon potential map for Great Britain and its implications, the National Radon Action Plan 2nd edition, and other radon topics

 

Who will benefit:

The forum should interest professionals including those with an interest in radon measurement and control in buildings, Local Authority officers, radon remediation specialists, radiation public health and environmental radiation consultants

 

Aims:

To provide an update on recent radon publications and initiatives. There will be opportunities to discuss radon issues and network with a range of radon specialists including scientists, government, radon remedial contractors and others. A small amount of space is available for commercial displays: please contact radon@ukhsa.gov.uk for further information

 

Programme/Content:

Registration is from 9:30, the main programme starts at 10:00 and ends at 16:15

A 'Radon Basics' talk will be offered as well as an opportunity to visit our laboratory with its radon calibration chamber

In addition to the invited speakers, we are willing to consider offered oral or poster presentations
