Toolbox Talks are a set of presentation slides and notes that are designed to raise awareness of the radiation that is used in your workplace. They are to be used by the radiation protection supervisor (RPS) who will have already receive RPS training, which we also offer.
Each set of presentations is designed to allow you to add your own company logo, your own images of the equipment that you use and the details of your RPS and RPA. Indeed, you may add any additional slides that may be relevant and reproduce any of the information for your companies use. Each presentation contains diagrams and explanations with an accompanying set of presenter notes that help prompt the RPS to highlight key learning points. The presenter notes are designed to help the RPS ask guiding questions during the presentation and encourage critical thinking between the audience, RPS and presentation. The Toolbox Talk can form part of the records kept by the RPS to demonstrate the importance of informing employees about presence of radiation even if they do not work with it.
Before purchasing, you will need to fill in an enquiry form so that one of our RPAs can review your needs and recommend the most appropriate Toolbox Talk for you. Each Toolbox Talk cost £TBA including VAT. For this you will receive an electronic copies of the files and an accompanying folder with notes.
