A new calculator is currently under development to allow for the estimation of patient doses from computed tomography. This will update the current SR250 dataset and Impact Excel package. It is anticipated that this calculator will be ready for use in 2023. Once completed it will be available to freely download from this page.
This software package contains the result of 23 series of Monte Carlo calculations. These model the conditions of exposure for a range of common makes of CT scanner and can be used with the ImPACT Excel package.
