Rosemary is a Principal Radiation Protection Scientist with more than 25 years of experience working in the Radiation Effects department of UKHSA's Chemical, Radiation and Environmental Hazards. Rosemary's main research area is the chromosomal and molecular mechanisms that underlie radiation-induced leukaemia initiation and development, and she has co-authored 20 peer-reviewed publications in this field. She has also contributed to the group's research on the genetic and metabolic factors that influence haematopoietic cell radiosensitivity and leukaemia susceptibility. She has also contributed to European Union funded research projects including RiscRad, DoReMi, RISK-IR.
