Developed by UKHSA, PC-CREAM is an application for performing radiological impact assessments of routine and continuous discharges of radionuclides to the environment. It is an updated and upgraded replacement for EC code PC-CREAM 98 which has been widely used in Europe and sold worldwide. PC-CREAM can be used to estimate individual and collective doses arising from discharges of radionuclides to the atmospheric and aquatic environments. It is particularly useful for performing prospective assessments as input to discharge authorisations and waste management decisions.
